Paraprofessional/Instructional Aide Bilingual Chinese and English

TYPE OF POSITION: School is growing and these are new positions for the 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 school year. Positions may start as part-time and contingent on performance, may grow to full-time with benefits.


Bachelors degree

Native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese

Have U.S. citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States



Experience working with K-6 graders in a classroom setting

Primary responsibilities include assisting students who need academic and/or behavioral support in the classroom.  The paraprofessional/instructional aide will serve as a member of the classroom team, modeling appropriate pro-social skills and acting as a cooperative team member working with staff and the school community. Person must be patient and demonstrate integrity, respect for confidentiality, respect for diversity, and other standards of ethnical conduct.
