The Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion Charter School Educational Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit tax-exempt organization whose mission is to support the educational program at the Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion Charter School. Your donation is tax deductible and will directly support the students.

Our goal is to ensure that our core academic program is funded by our public revenue from the state.  However, as a small new school, we have many needs that will be funded through private fundraising.

These start-up costs include the continued development and assessment of the school's immersion curriculum; the art, music and cultural classes; creation of a school library, an after-school program, transportation subsidies for our eligible students and a new school facility.

Donations of any amount are welcome. Below are some areas targeted for private funding.

STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT

Books and materials for school library ($5,000)

Art supplies ($50 per student or $2,200 overall)

Musical instruments ($1500)

STUDENT ENRICHMENT

Transportation for field trips ($1000 per semester or $2,000 overall)

After-school program ($9,000 for additional staffing)

ARTS AND CULTURE

Visiting Author/Artist Series ($500 each or $3,000 overall)

Community Time Cultural Demos Series ($150 each or $600 overall)

PROFESSIONAL GROWTH

Professional Development for staff ($300 per faculty member or $3,000 overall)

INFRASTRUCTURE

Computer hardware and software for each classroom ($2,000 for each classroom or $6000 overall)

Educational software ($2000 for each classroom or $6,000 overall)
Facilities Renovation ($20,000 for classroom renovation)

Outdoor Playground ($25,000 for design and equipment)
Transportation Subsidies for eligible students ($1500 per student)

Capital Fund (We are looking to build our cash position for a potential facilities purchase.)
